Job summary

Motivo is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and build of dynamic electro-mechanical projects. You will work on rapid prototypes and test designs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting automotive and related tech initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive engineering, strong CAD and system-level thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams. Occasional travel (<10%) is required.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering required; MS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex systems across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Create and edit top level system architectures.
• Perform structural design, analysis and optimization.
• Generate detailed designs and drawings of systems, components, and interfaces.
• Support manufacturing and build activities.
• Present results and recommendations to internal team and external customers.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines; mentor new engineers.
