Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, An Oshkosh Company, is seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical to serve as the on-site link between the NGDV Design Engineering organization and manufacturing operations. You will own assigned vehicle systems through production, support production readiness, lead investigations, and drive corrective actions to protect safety, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with three (3) or more years of related experience.
Experience with high-volume production environments and CAD systems.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site Design Engineering representative for assigned vehicle systems, providing technical leadership and daily engineering support to manufacturing operations.
Lead root cause investigations for production issues and drive timely implementation of corrective actions with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
Communicate technical issues, risk assessments, and corrective action status to plant leadership and the Design Engineering organization.
