Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a full-time role focused on precision fluid dispensing and metering systems. You will own designs from concept through production while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, strong CAD (SolidWorks preferred), GD&T, FEA/CFD, tolerance analysis, and hands-on prototyping and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical design and engineering analysis experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Understanding of GD&T and ANSI/ASME Y14 drawing standards.
• Experience with FEA and/or CFD.
• Experience performing tolerance analysis.
• Experience with FMEA, DOE, and structured root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects or engineering deliverables.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own complex mechanical designs and subassemblies from concept through production.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Lead design verification and documentation to support compliance and manufacturability.
