Job summary

Tektronix in Solon, OH is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Precision DC Solutions team. You will design mechanical components and enclosures for electronic instrumentation, create 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and support NPD from concept to production release.

Collaborate with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, test and quality teams; perform thermal and structural analyses; lead ECRs and product lifecycle activities; support cost reduction and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong 3D CAD modeling skills and mechanical design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and enclosures for electronic instrumentation products.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and product documentation.
• Support new product development from concept through production release.
