Qualifications

• Professional engineer license with a BS in Engineering and at least 10 years of related experience.
• Expertise in central boiler and chiller plant design.
• Experience with central plant modeling and piping thermal distribution.
• Knowledge of energy efficient and low/zero carbon systems including geothermal.
• Strong knowledge of central plant instrumentation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Makes independent engineering decisions on complex projects and provides supervision.
• Develops solutions for large, highly complex engineering projects.
• Supervises and reviews work of junior engineers and designers.
• Reviews design approaches and coordinates with contractors and clients.
• Performs on-site inspections during construction and ensures design requirements are met.
• Mentors junior staff and contributes to project management
• Leads proposal writing, cost estimating and client presentations.
