Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required; 5+ years progressive engineering experience, or an AA in Mechanical Technology with 9+ years.
Experience in mechanical system design, cooling calculations, and field surveys.
Strong collaboration with customers and internal teams, with ability to provide engineering guidance.

Responsibilities

Provides guidance to Level 1 and 2 Engineers and Designers.
Converts prototype designs into commercially viable mechanical systems.
Performs detailed calculations to design for system cooling requirements.
Confers with internal and external customers to discuss existing or potential product designs.
Provides mechanical engineering leadership for complex projects with minimal team leader oversight.
Participates in customer/project interviews and writes reports.
