Job summary

RMH Group, a Salas O’Brien Company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager for our Lakewood, CO office. The role focuses on technical leadership, project ownership and mentoring.

A minimum of 10 years of design experience and PE registration (Colorado) is preferred. Responsibilities include leading mechanical design for commercial buildings, coordinating with internal teams and managing budgets, schedules, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Ten years of building design experience in the MEP industry preferred.
• Professional Engineer registration (Colorado) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for commercial buildings; project ownership and client presentations.
• Lead mechanical/electrical project management for assigned projects.
• Manage change orders, budgets, schedules, and staffing needs.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Lead meetings with clients/owners and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
