Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Mechanical (Plumbing) Engineer to lead and deliver plumbing design for advanced facilities projects in the US, with 10–20% travel. You’ll mentor junior staff and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team while ensuring schedule and technical quality.

You will serve as SME for plumbing systems and codes, solving complex problems and contributing innovative ideas. Hybrid work and onsite startup support are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE license are required.
• At least 10 years of mechanical engineering and plumbing design experience in complex facilities.
• Strong knowledge of IPC and on-site field experience with plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mechanical/plumbing design tasks with schedule and quality responsibility.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide on-site support during startup and oversee construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with client expectations, scope, budget and schedule.
