Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced engineer with a PE license to sign and seal engineering documents and manage complex projects. You will analyze, develop, and evaluate systems, improve existing ones or initiate new projects, and design drawings while visiting sites and guiding field teams.

You will apply engineering techniques, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships, with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license are required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents.
• Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.
• Improves and maintains current systems or creates new projects.
• Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects.
• Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
• Leads and mentors a subordinate group; may act as lead or first-level supervisor.
• Interacts directly with clients.
