Job summary

ENFRA is a leader in Energy-as-a-Service and seeks a Mechanical Professional Engineer III to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of complex mechanical systems for hospitals and campuses. Youll guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure code-compliant, constructible HVAC, hydronic, and thermal plant designs, and oversee project execution.

This senior role mentors junior engineers, supports permitting and procurement, and drives energy efficiency and lifecycle performance within ENFRAs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architectural or mechanical engineering and PE license required.
10+ years of design experience with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong leadership, project management, and client management skills.
Advanced communication and ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Signing and sealing engineering documents and overseeing technical quality.
Leads the design and execution of complex mechanical systems on large projects.
Develops detailed system configurations and control schemes optimizing energy savings.
Establishes engineering approaches, design standards, and best practices.
Mentors junior engineers and reviews work for accuracy and scope.
Travels to job sites 10-25% of the time to supervise field activities.
