Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of design experience.
• PE License.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical system design.
• Strong leadership and project management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced communication and client management.
• Experience managing large projects (preferred).
• Energy-as-a-service delivery experience (preferred).
• Travel 10-25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex mechanical systems for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design for HVAC, hydronic, and thermal plants.
• Manage project execution, mentor junior engineers, and resolve technical challenges.
• Oversee design quality, permitting, and procurement aligned with design-build model.
• Sign and seal documents and develop system configurations and control schemes.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices.
• Provide oversight of junior staff work.
• Manage scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients and external partners.
• Support existing client relationships with technical input and proposals.
