Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• PE license is required.
• 8–10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for complex projects.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, high-rise, and multi-family building types.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for system layouts and documentation.
• Experience coordinating with architecture, structure and other disciplines.
• Direct client contact experience and ability to develop project objectives and documentation policies.
• Sustainable building design experience; LEED AP or LEED GA with LEED process exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for complex building systems.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through construction completion.
• Coordinate HVAC with architecture and other disciplines.
• Prepare design calculations, layouts, and technical reports.
• Engage with clients and support business development via RFPs and interviews.
• Participate in industry organizations and ongoing professional development.
