Job summary

Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
8-15 years of professional experience.
Must be a registered P.E. in LA and TX.
Knowledge of pipe stress analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Support the technical engineering and design of mechanical projects.
Perform detailed engineering calculations, including load analysis and equipment sizing.
Design and specify mechanical systems and components to ensure proper installation.
Conduct field assessments and propose modifications.
Ensure compliance with codes and site policies.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet budgets and schedules.
Prepare project documentation, cost estimates, procurement requirements, schedules, and reports.
Manage project budgets and assist with commissioning.
Provide technical support during construction phases.
