Job summary

Keystone Engineering Inc. in Nassau Bay near Houston is seeking a Mechanical Resource Manager to lead mechanical engineering teams, provide technical oversight, and unify design standards across offices.

You will mentor junior engineers, support proposals and project execution in petrochemical and refining markets, and travel occasionally for site visits and turnover activities.

A PE license and 15+ years of experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
  • PE license strongly preferred or required where applicable.
  • 15+ years of mechanical engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or related industries.
  • Proven track record mentoring and developing engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical authority for mechanical engineering disciplines, including piping, rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and other critical systems.
  • Provide oversight and review of mechanical engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Mentor early-career and mid-level mechanical engineers across offices, fostering skill development and professional growth.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
