Job summary

Jobot seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 15+ years of experience to lead building systems design in our Raleigh team. The role focuses on analysis, design, and evaluation of HVAC, plumbing, and associated infrastructure, with a heavy emphasis on client-facing work and project leadership.

The ideal candidate has PE licensure, LEED AP or equivalent sustainability credentials, and a proven track record in mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 15+ years of experience in the design of building-related mechanical systems.
• Leadership and client-facing experience.
• LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and evaluate building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection.
• Develop drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Lead project management and coordinate with clients.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
