You will own major subsystems, drive design decisions, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and suppliers to deliver production-ready equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience independently developing complex mechanical systems from concept through design, build, test, and release.
• Strong experience owning mechanical systems or major subsystems, not just individual components.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD, drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, component selection, and DFM/DFMA.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of major mechanical systems from definition to integration.
• Translate requirements into practical mechanical architectures and interfaces.
• Develop production‑ready designs using 3D CAD, drawings, GD&T, and BOMs.
• Apply fundamentals across structures, motion, thermal, fluids, and enclosure design.
• Lead technical work across multiple engineering functions with limited supervision.
• Mentor engineers and provide design reviews.
• Work hands-on with prototypes during assembly, testing, and debugging.
• Maintain technical documentation and manage changes through release.
