Job summary

Pond & Company in the Southeast region seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Professional Design Services team, with offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Huntsville. You will design mechanical systems and lead project efforts.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of MEP experience, PE licensure or progress toward licensure, and a proven ability to mentor staff and collaborate with clients. This role offers growth across markets and hands-on leadership from concept through construction

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of related MEP experience in design environments.
• PE License required, or pass the PE exam with licensure pending.
• Experience mentoring staff and leading projects with client interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
• Lead projects and support proposals with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior to mid-level MEP engineers.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
