The role includes mentoring junior engineers, driving QA/QC standards, and contributing to business development while managing multiple projects with 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Active PE license in Kentucky required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for MEP design and documentation.
• 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems focusing on power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, low-voltage data, and lighting within MEP projects.
• Perform analysis, design, documentation, and coordination for building systems.
• Serve as technical advisor in client meetings and define project scope and deliverables.
• Oversee construction administration and commissioning to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Write detailed observation reports from site visits and reviews.
