Job summary

Vero Biotech in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of electromechanical medical devices and drive late-stage product development through design verifications and manufacturing transfer.

You will build prototypes, test systems, and create robust CAD models in SolidWorks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet FDA guidelines and QMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of mechanical design and development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of electromechanical medical devices.
• Drive late-stage product development and design transfer to manufacturing.
• Create and maintain SolidWorks models, drawings, BOMs, and component requirements.
• Develop and execute mechanical, fluidic, thermal, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Perform root cause investigations and implement design improvements based on test results.
