Job summary

Vero Biotech, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design of next-generation medical devices, ensuring compliance with FDA and related guidelines.

You will develop test protocols, write specifications, and drive design reviews. You will create SolidWorks models, evaluate materials, perform reliability testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer designs to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing electromechanical medical devices.
• Familiarity with Design Control, GD&T, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of electromechanical medical devices in accordance with Design Control and Quality Management System procedures.
• Drive late-stage product development, including prototype refinement, system integration, design verification, design freeze, and transfer to manufacturing.
• Create and maintain SolidWorks models, assemblies, drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and component requirements.
• Design and evaluate molded, stamped, machined, sheet metal, fluidic, enclosure, etc.
