Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Texas PE registration required.
• Approximately 10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in EPC, engineering consulting, or major capital projects.
• Strong experience with fixed/static and pressure-retaining equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API standards, and applicable mechanical design codes and standards.
• Experience working directly with equipment vendors, manufacturers, and fabrication shops.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify fixed/static equipment including pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Develop and review mechanical calculations, datasheets, and specs.
• Seal/stamp engineering documents as the Texas Professional Engineer.
• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and project teams.
• Support LNG, power generation, and cogeneration interfaces.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, SIL, and constructability.
