Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Supervising Mechanical Engineer II to lead and oversee engineering teams on high‑profile projects. The role requires PE licensure, CAD/REVIT proficiency, and extensive experience in MEP engineering within a consulting context.

You will serve as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects, supervise staff, and manage budgeting, scheduling, and contracts while coordinating with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates must hold a PE licensure.
• Healthcare design experience is preferred.
• Experience with Critical Facilities, Commercial, and Aviation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and lead coordination meetings.
• Supervise staff, coordinate tasks, and participate in budgeting and scheduling.
• Prepare proposals and administer project contracts with clients.
• Oversee construction admin duties including RFI responses and bulletins.
• Coordinate with accounting to prepare monthly invoices and manage receivables.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to firm-wide expert teams.
