Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Guam to lead projects in Civic, Education, Federal, Naval, Transit, or commercial buildings. The role focuses on directing design staff, ensuring QA/QC, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, a Guam-registered PE or eligibility, and 10+ years of experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered PE in Guam or ability to obtain.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor design staff daily.
• Lead QA/QC reviews on specs, reports, and drawings.
• Develop and monitor work plans with PMs.
• Manage project scope, fees, schedules, and contracts.
• Coordinate with ME, Arch, Struct and subconsultants.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs.
• Apply risk management to minimize exposure.
