Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and delivery of mechanical systems for Civic, Education, Federal, Naval, Transit or commercial buildings in Guam. You will guide design staff, ensure quality, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a PE in Guam (or ability to obtain), and 10+ years of experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Guam or ability to obtain it.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor design staff on daily responsibilities.
• Perform QA/QC reviews on specifications, reports, and drawings.
• Develop and monitor work plans in conjunction with other PMs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP/FP, Arch, Struct, etc.).
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs for projects.
• Manage project performance within budgeted hours and schedules.
