Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to serve as a generalist across HVAC, utility, and piping designs for generation, industrial, and government clients. This hands-on role requires engineering judgment, design calculations, and cross-discipline collaboration.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with civil/electrical teams, and deliver scalable solutions for power, industrial, and facilities projects, leveraging a broad mechanical toolkit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 10+ years breadth across HVAC, utility systems, and piping design.
• Hands-on design and calculation experience across multiple mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selection for projects.
• Design and coordinate utility and piping systems.
• Support piping design tasks and CS/structural coordination as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and review team deliverables.
• Contribute to proposals and client technical discussions.
