Jobot seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Raleigh team, leading mechanical building systems design across complex projects and mentoring junior engineers while staying hands-on in engineering and design.

The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, capable of balancing performance, constructability, budget, and energy efficiency throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of mechanical/HVAC systems for complex building projects
• Perform and review engineering calculations and equipment selections
• Develop mechanical system concepts based on client requirements, project goals, and budgets
• Evaluate and assess existing mechanical systems
• Develop project specifications and technical documentation
