Job summary

CP Engineers seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership within our mechanical engineering team. You will develop project scopes, prepare budgets, and oversee design work to ensure high-quality, accurate outputs across the organization.

The role includes hands-on design, sealing drawings, and overseeing projects for commercial, industrial, and municipal infrastructure. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Active Pennsylvania Professional Engineer license (with ability to obtain New Jersey PE).
• 7–10 years of mechanical engineering experience with leadership or supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for HVAC, plumbing, and related systems across projects.
• Prepare, review, and seal drawings, specs, and reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project deliverables.
• Support field staff during construction and site visits.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; enforce QA/QC procedures.
