Job summary

Middough Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead technical design work and manage mechanical tasks across multi-discipline projects.

You will execute designs, guide resources, and collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering Department Manager to plan and deliver mechanical work for diverse client needs. You will engage in a client-facing role, take ownership of mechanical design, and drive major project objectives within a consulting design environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree.
• PE License or EIT (with goal to obtain PE) preferred.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering work experience with expertise in at least two areas listed in the ad.
• Experience designing with 3D CAD tools and leading mechanical design teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct the technical work as the mechanical lead on assigned projects.
• Lead client and internal teams to scope and execute design work on schedule and budget.
• Review engineering deliverables for compliance with principles, standards, and specs.
• Develop system designs and sizes equipment, prepare specs & data sheets, evaluate bids.
