Based onsite in Kohler, WI four days per week, you will collaborate with marketing, industrial design, and manufacturing to optimize cost, quality, and timing. 4+ years of engineering experience and CAD proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering; Mechanical preferred.
• 4+ years engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of CAD modeling.
• Strong technical judgement and communication.
• Multilingual preferred: English, Spanish, Mandarin.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Create product specs with marketing and industrial design.
• Study consumer behavior and competitors to add value.
• Develop/refine concepts using 3D modeling (Creo), FEA, CFD.
• Use DFMEA and design critiques to mitigate failures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to balance cost/quality.
• Validate value through consumer and human experience research.
