Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience with thermal systems, boilers, chillers, HVAC, and utility networks.
• Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, NFPA codes and standards.
• Proficient with design software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and optimize mechanical utility systems.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs, equipment specs, and system docs.
• Lead design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
• Manage small- to mid-size capital projects from concept to commissioning.
• Analyze system performance to reduce energy use and costs.
• Ensure safety, codes compliance, and hazard analysis participation.
