Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Chelmsford, MA seeks a Mechanical Continuation Engineer to sustain products through lifecycle support, design improvements, and cost reduction initiatives. You will work within a cross-functional team on electromechanical assemblies, sensors, and safety devices, using Creo and SAP to drive design for manufacturing and qualification.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, US work authorization, and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Legal authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of product design experience in industrial/consumer/medical domains.
• Proficient in 3D CAD systems and structural/thermal analysis tools.
• Experience with SAP, DFM, DFA, and Six Sigma.
• Understanding of GD&T and modern machining methods.

Responsibilities

• Define and supervise engineering tests to qualify designs.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Develop innovative designs for high-volume production.
• Document maintenance tasks and product qualification efforts.
