Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• 3+ years as a responsible engineer or tech lead.
• Experience delivering hardware from concept to flight delivery.
• Deep experience with precision mechanisms, robotics, aerospace hardware.
• Strong SolidWorks experience with GD&T and BOMs.
• Experience using first-principles, tolerance analysis, and FEA.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, integration, and test.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and mechanism development, scope, milestones, and verification plans.
• Own technical execution through design, procurement, build, test, and delivery.
• Lead trade studies on architecture, interfaces, and tolerance strategy.
• Oversee design reviews with cross-functional teams and drive closure.
• Manage schedules, vendors, budgets, and risk-mitigation activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design standards.
