Entrust is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for New Product Development in Minneapolis, MN. You will drive mechanical concepts, guide designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver printing and personalization solutions for cards, IDs, and more.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, working on injection-molded plastics, sheet metal, machining, motors, lasers, and sensors, with leadership responsibilities and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
5+ years of product development experience.
3D solid modeling experience and general PC skills.
Ability to work legally in the US.

Responsibilities

Understand product requirements and develop solutions.
Use calculations to support mechanical concepts.
Lead design reviews and collaborate with suppliers.
Prototype, test, and iterate on designs.
Provide project, people, and team leadership.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
