Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Minneapolis to join a skilled team developing systems for printing and personalizing credentials. You will lead cross-functional design efforts, guide designers, and collaborate with engineers on printing technologies, injection-molded parts, sheet metal, and sensors.

This onsite role supports hands-on design with flexible work-from-home options when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of product development experience.
• 3D solid modeling experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and develop solutions.
• Use theoretical calculations and analytical methods to develop and support mechanical concepts.
• Apply sound engineering judgment to solve technical problems.
• Apply understanding of design for manufacturing to ensure high-quality parts.
• Review or create part drawings, solid models and bills of materials.
• Work with suppliers to produce parts.
• Prototype, test, and iterate on designs.
• Provide project, people, and team leadership.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
