Job summary

Walt Disney World seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and specify facility systems, and to provide field support and troubleshooting for complex installations. You will contribute to lifecycle asset management and work with project teams to implement energy-saving initiatives.

Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Florida PE license, with 7+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, fuel/gas, ventilation, pool, and kitchen systems; 10+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Florida Professional Engineer license.
• At least seven years of experience designing HVAC, plumbing, fuel and gas, ventilation, pool, and kitchen systems; ten+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop mechanical designs, drawings, calculations, job plans, submittals, and specifications for facility systems.
• Provide field installation support and troubleshooting.
• Support lifecycle asset management and project teams through technical guidance, standards documentation, vendor collaboration, and energy and cost-saving initiatives.
