Job summary

You will design, review, and refine mechanical systems, mentor junior staff, and contribute to knowledge management through white papers and design documentation. Travel may be required across project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering or related field (or Eng. Tech).
• EIT/FE certification within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary, large projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems including master planning, feasibility studies, and mechanical systems.
• Review designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; ensure policy adherence.
• Conduct site reviews to align designs with location specifications and update requirements.
• Develop white papers and technical design documentation for new or special case designs; publish when applicable.
• Attend industry conferences; collaborate with sales teams to maximize outreach.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and supervise project work.
