Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certification as Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing FE exam within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems including master planning, feasibility studies, and mechanical systems; incorporate sustainability and green building practices.
• Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; ensure firm policies are followed.
• Perform site reviews to ensure designs align with location specifications and update requirements as needed.
• Contribute to Technical Knowledge Management by developing white papers and design documentation.
• Attend industry conferences to enhance visibility and collaborate with sales teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and supervise project work as needed.
