Job summary

SY LEE ASSOCIATES in Glendale, CA seeks a senior mechanical engineer with HVAC and plumbing design experience, plus an architectural background and constructability knowledge to spot issues and provide solutions with mark-ups, hand sketches, and clear written and verbal communication.

You will perform constructability reviews, RFIs/RFCs, submittal and shop drawing reviews, and coordination across disciplines to keep projects on schedule for large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• Senior mechanical engineer with HVAC and plumbing design experience.
• Architectural background and constructability knowledge required.
• Experience with QA/QC and large-scale projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform constructability reviews and coordinate with project team.
