Black & Veatch is seeking a senior HVAC and plumbing engineer to lead the design of data centers and related facilities. You will perform calculations, select equipment, ensure code compliance, and conduct CFD airflow modeling to optimize performance.

You will coordinate with project teams and clients, manage budgets, schedules, and quality, review work, and mentor junior engineers to build a high-performing, compliant data-center engineering practice.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience; active engineering registration/licensure.
• 11+ years of related work experience in HVAC/plumbing for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, energy modeling, and sustainable design.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical design preferred.

Lead and deliver complex HVAC and plumbing engineering design for data centers and related facilities, including calculations, equipment selection, code compliance, and CFD airflow modeling. Coordinate project teams and client needs, manage budget, schedule, and quality, review work, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent engineering experience, at least 11 years of related work experience, and active engineering registration or licensure supporting engineer-of-record requirements. Preferred qualifications include mechanical or architectural engineering education, data center or mission-critical design experience, strong Revit skills, and familiarity with relevant codes, standards, energy modeling, and sustainable design.
