ASSA ABLOY Group seeks aMechanical Engineer to design, develop and improve products, fabricate and test prototypes, and release final designs for manufacture. The role requires hands‑on engineering with CAD excellence, GD&T, and DFMEA, plus collaboration across research, sales, and manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8+ years of product design experience in a manufacturing setting and 1–3+ years in HVAC or HVLS fan engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;Master’s preferred.
• 5-8+ years in engineering, preferably product design with manufacturing background.
• 1-3+ years HVAC or airflow experience for HVLS Fans roles.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Advanced/intermediate CAD drafting and industry standards.
• GD&T using CATIA; DFMEA experience.
• Hands-on product experience; diagnose problems and implement countermeasures.
• Proficient with MS Office; Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint; CAD tools.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and improve products and components.
• Coordinate prototype fabrication and testing; analyze results.
• Release final product for manufacture and distribution.
• Oversee field tests, gather feedback, and implement improvements.
• Prepare documentation including manuals and layouts.
• Interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with HVLS-related regulations via AMCA committees.

Formation

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Master's Degree a plus

5-8+ years engineering experience in product design/manufacturing

1-3+ years HVAC or airflow experience for HVLS Fans

Advanced/Intermediate experience with CAD standards

GD&T using CATIA CAD tools

Experience with DFMEA

Hands-on product experience; problem recognition and countermeasures

Proficient with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint
