Responsibilities include load calculations, equipment selection, and creating construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit, while adhering to ASHRAE standards and building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with HVAC/building systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building codes.
• Experience preparing construction documents for building projects.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for commercial and institutional buildings.
• Perform load calculations, duct sizing, equipment selection, and layouts.
• Prepare mechanical plans, specs, calculations, and schedules.
• Coordinate designs with architecture, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Manage projects from design through construction and closeout.
• Review drawings and design work by team members.
• Conduct site visits to document conditions and resolve issues.
• Review RFIs and submittals during construction.
