Job summary

Alpha Tech Research Corp in Utah seeks a highly motivated mechanical engineer to design and optimize high-temperature systems, with emphasis on CAD design, ASME codes, and fabrication methods. Qualifications

• Experience with high-temperature equipment and design.
• CSWE or proven competency in CAD.
• Familiarity with applicable ASME codes.
• Demonstrated expertise in fabrication.
• Ability to work with fabricators on manufacturability.
• Experience in ASME code and ECM.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Preferred: nuclear, aerospace, defense or other regulated industries; hazardous chemicals/lab settings; PE/FE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multidisciplinary team to design, operate, and optimize a high temperature molten salt production process.
• Lead ECM of the process equipment.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to procure process equipment.
• Assist on the production floor as needed.
