Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with internship or 6+ months of related work experience.
• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.
• Experience with a high level CAD system.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks.
• Assist senior engineers in preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and reporting.
• Work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams and suppliers.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and customers on technical issues.
• Ensure engineering criteria and drawing standards are followed.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
• Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
