Job summary

A fast-paced drone delivery company in Mountain View is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and production of their ground systems. You will own electromechanical subsystems, perform analyses and mentor junior engineers. The role requires over 7 years of mechanical engineering experience, strong CAD skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The expected salary range is $160,000–$220,000 with additional equity and benefits, including unlimited PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience designing electromechanical systems.
• Strong hands-on design experience with CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Experience designing housings and seals for outdoor use.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept-to-production mechanical engineering for ground systems.
• Translate system requirements into mechanical designs.
• Perform structural, vibration and thermal analyses.
