Dematic is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Engineer to complete the design of sophisticated systems that integrate hardware and software. You will prepare drawings, material specs, and follow-up actions to ensure high-quality delivery.

The role requires 8+ years in mechanical engineering, strong communication, and the ability to lead multiple projects. Occasional travel up to 25% to client sites and Dematic locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; mechanical preferred.
• 8+ years of related experience in project-based mechanical engineering.
• Proficient with 3D modeling software and AutoCAD.
• Experience in material handling/automation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Design sophisticated systems integrating hardware and software.
• Prepare detailed material specifications and drawings.
• Suggest productivity improvements and cost reductions.
• Transfer knowledge and coordinate at customer sites.
