Dematic is seeking multiple talented Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our Global Project Engineering team. The Mechanical Engineering team performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives while on multi-discipline project teams, delivering designs from concept through installation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling, and experience in the Material Handling/automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in related field with demonstrated responsibilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
• Experience in Material Handling/automation industry.
• Experience in a project-based mechanical role (design to installation).
• Ability to effectively delegate and manage multiple projects.
• Understanding of project schedules and budgets for Mechanical Engineering functions.

Responsabilités

• Design sophisticated systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Prepare detailed material specifications, layouts, drawings, and follow-up.
• Suggest productivity, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction improvements.
• Perform complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for product applications.
• Identify and solve complex problems across most situations.
• Oversee Project Engineering and commissioning at customer sites.
• Communicate and train customers for final system design.
• Travel up to 25% to different customer locations and Dematic sites.
