Dematic is seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our Global Project Engineering team. The role involves designing complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls, and software, and supporting drawings and layouts from concept to completion.

The position requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, strong collaboration skills, and proficiency in CAD. Roles may be based at major hubs in GA, MI, WI, TX and involves on-site work in customer environments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of industry-related experience or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
• Able to understand project schedules, budgets, and execution requirements.
• Strong collaboration with diverse, multinational teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the design of complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and software.
• Supports specification, manufacturing drawings, and layout drawings with follow-up.
• Reviews designs to identify and resolve problems with cross-functional teams.
• Manages procurement requests and orders to obtain equipment.
• Assists on-site with installation and commissioning efforts and site audits.
