Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own rotating equipment integration for gas turbines, steam turbines and HRSGs, from technical specification through commissioning. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years with utility-scale rotating equipment: gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs or large compressors/pumps.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specs for gas/steam turbines, HRSGs and auxiliaries.
• Lead technical evaluation of OEM proposals and drive equipment selection.
• Own mechanical interface management between major packages and ensure constructibility.
• Review OEM drawings and P&IDs for compliance.
• Support foundation design coordination and field startup activities.
