Qualifications
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience in energy storage or power products.
- Strong understanding of DFM for injection molding and sheet metal parts.
- Experience with FEA for structural parts.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping tools.
Responsibilities
- Design complex electro-mechanical energy storage products.
- Create 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, and bill of materials.
- Lead design-for-manufacturing reviews for efficiency and sustainability.
- Support failure analyses and FMEA development.
Skills
Mechanical design experience in energy storage or power products
DFM experience for injection molding and sheet metal parts
Understanding of first principles/engineering methodology
FEA for structural parts
Experience with prototyping tools (3D printers, CNC machines)
Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
