A forward-thinking cleantech startup in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer. You will lead the design of complex electro-mechanical energy storage products, create 3D CAD models, and ensure design efficiency through DFM. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of relevant experience and a strong proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks. Competenze

• 8+ years of mechanical design experience in energy storage or power products.

$130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing complex electro-mechanical energy storage products from a blank slate through to manufacture. What You’ll Do

• Create 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, and bill of materials
• Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews, ensuring efficiency and sustainability
• Support failure analyses and FMEA development with a solution-oriented mindset
• Build strong partnerships with OEMs, vendors, manufacturers, and key suppliers

What They’re Looking For

• 8+ years of mechanical design experience in energy storage or power products
• DFM experience for injection molding and sheet metal parts
• Strong understanding of applying first principles / engineering methodology to ambiguous requirements
• Experience of FEA for structural parts
• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (3D printers, CNC machines, etc.)
